Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet seeks a Clinical Program Manager to oversee the clinical program's activities and workflow. You will support administrative duties for the department and collaborate with the unit Director or Manager to maintain smooth operations.

The role includes direct staff supervision, ensuring efficient use of resources, and participating in performance improvement and regulatory compliance. Clinical care may be provided as needed within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of applicable experience.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintained.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and licensure as a clinical professional preferred.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Program Manager manages activities and flow of work for the assigned clinical program. Supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and works collaboratively with the unit Director and/or Manager. In the absence of the unit Director and/or Manager, the Clinical Program Manager may assume the administrative scope of the unit assigned. Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations. Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally. Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment, and staff. Ensures the efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

• A minimum of three (3) years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintained current.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
• Licensure as a clinical professional, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $81,522.48 to $108,709.12 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
