Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Program Tech to support the treatment team from admission through discharge in a residential setting. The role focuses on clinical support, safety, and coordinated care for clients.

Responsibilities include monitoring client activities, maintaining treatment boundaries, and assisting with transportation and documentation. Requires BLS, valid driver’s license, and strong English and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Driver's License required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to use standard equipment to perform job functions.
• Maintain control over personal mood-altering substances.
• If in recovery, minimum 2 years of uninterrupted recovery.
• Advanced English reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically supportive services as required by the program.
• Understand symptoms of substance use and mental illness; recognize suicide warning signs.
• Demonstrate active listening, motivational techniques and crisis management.
• Maintain appropriate treatment boundaries with clients and families.
• Document activities accurately and follow program protocols.
• Assist with transportation for off-campus activities when needed.
• Communicate effectively with team and other departments; ensure shift handoffs are clear.
