Job summary

San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) is seeking a pharmacist to join the Strut/Magnet Clinic team in San Francisco. The role provides same-day medication access, counseling on PrEP, nPEP, DoxyPEP, and other prescriptions, and supports adherence as part of HIV and sexual health services.

The on-site position requires CA pharmacy licensure, retail or specialty pharmacy experience, and flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree (BS Pharmacy or PharmD) and licensure.
• Retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally competent service.
• Flexibility for coverage including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication dispensing and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions.
• Provide medication counseling on PrEP, nPEP, DoxyPEP, and all prescriptions.
• Engage clients to partner in their medication therapy.
• Collaborate with health teams to optimize adherence and wellness.
• Comply with California board of Pharmacy and regulatory standards.
