Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Clinical Practice Nurse to support patients through their fertility journey in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will administer treatments, perform ultrasounds, and guide patients with compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires an active WA RN license, BLS, and experience in women’s health or reproductive medicine. This is a full-time, onsite position with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of Washington.
• Current BLS certification.
• Clinical experience in women’s health, reproductive medicine, or ultrasound proficiency.
• Experience administering injections and supporting medication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform fertility-related limited ultrasounds and document findings.
• Administer medications and injections; educate patients on usage and compliance.
• Provide in-depth patient education across the fertility treatment process, including cycle monitoring and post-procedure care.
• Conduct intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedures in alignment with clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, follow up on missed appointments, and maintain clear communication with team members.
• Maintain up-to-date EMR and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide emotional support and address patient concerns throughout the care journey.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation with compensation.

About The Role

The Clinical Practice Nurse plays a vital role in supporting patients through their fertility journey by delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive on providing patient-centered support and possess strong clinical skills. The Clinical Practice Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to administer treatments, perform ultrasounds, and guide patients throughout their fertility care journey.

We are seeking a Clinical Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington in Spokane Valley, WA. This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This role also includes up to two holidays per year and weekend shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fertility-related limited ultrasounds and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed; educate patients on usage and compliance.
• Provide in-depth patient education across the fertility treatment process, including cycle monitoring and post-procedure care.
• Conduct intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedures in alignment with clinical protocols.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to fertility treatments, including medication reactions and lab results.
• Perform a variety of ultrasound scans as part of patient monitoring and fertility treatment protocols; experience with or willingness to train in scanning is required.
• Provide triage support and clinical guidance within the RN scope of practice.
• Respond to medical complications, including vasovagal reactions, with appropriate interventions.
• Monitor patient progress, follow up on missed appointments, ensure adherence to treatment plans, and maintain clear communication with team members.
• Serve as a clinical resource to support staff and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide emotional support, address patient concerns, and help remove barriers to care.
• Serve as a consistent point of contact for patients throughout their care journey.
• Assist in coordinating systems repairs or maintenance and contribute to workflow efficiency.
• Help develop and maintain accessible and accurate patient education materials.
• Ensure adherence to clinic policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Provide care and communication in a supportive, empathetic manner to help reduce patient stress.
• Participate in professional development and demonstrate a commitment to the team environment.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, with additional compensation provided (details shared during interviews).
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN license in the state of Washington required
  • Current BLS certification required.
• Experience:
  • Candidates must have clinical experience in women’s health, reproductive medicine, or a closely related field, and/or possess ultrasound proficiency (or be willing to complete training upon hire).
  • Experience administering injections and supporting medication protocols.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain composed in urgent situations.
  • Comfort with EMR systems and general clinical documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform duties requiring physical activity.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Flexibility:
  • Willingness to cover weekends, holidays, and work at various locations as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
