Job summary

TeamHealth in Indiana seeks a Clinical Practice Manager to liaison between Post-Acute facilities and regional leadership, driving day-to-day operations and performance. You will coordinate client service activities, lead onsite meetings with providers and facilities quarterly, and participate in provider recruitment while ensuring budgets and staffing meet patient care needs.

This hybrid, full-time role requires strong administrative skills, healthcare knowledge, and a passion for quality care

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of work experience in a healthcare-related field.
  • BS or equivalent in healthcare-related field required.
  • Strong mathematical and scheduling analysis abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between Post-Acute facilities and regional leadership.
  • Coordinate client service activities and perform special assignments.
  • Lead onsite meetings with providers and client facilities quarterly.
  • Participate in recruitment for new providers.
  • Monitor KPIs and provider satisfaction; drive process improvements.

** BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY HIRING IN INDIANA AND SURROUNDING AREAS **

The Clinical Practice Manager serves as the liaison between the Post-Acute facility and the regional leadership. The Clinical Practice Manager, under the direction of the Vice President of Operations (VPO), is responsible for operational performance of the facilities in their assigned region. The Clinical Practice Manager provides operational support to their PODS, coordinates client service activities and performs special assignments and other related work as required,

Administrative duties for Providers
  • Serves as primary support for the providers in their daily duties. Clinician management
  • Collaborates with the medical community to help ensure effective care transitions.
  • Provides administrative support for minutes and agendas of team meetings.
  • Enhances Patient and Provider Satisfaction
  • Oversees new hire orientation for thorough onboarding process.
Management
  • Recommends process improvements to gain operational and/or administrative efficiencies and sees through implementation.
  • Manages daily operations and recommends improvements to the practice as it relates to KPI's and Provider Satisfaction
  • Helps coordinate coverage schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs.
  • Implements policies and procedures that guide and support the practice operations.
  • Participates in Recruitment for new providers for the Post-Acute team.
  • Lead onsite meetings with providers and client facilities on a quarterly basis
  • Assesses department needs for resources, supplies, equipment, and staff to provide quality services and reduce operational costs.
  • Consistently meet budget for areas of responsibility.
Ensures establishment and continuation of Quality programs
  • Presents new programs/processes that reduce cost and/or improve quality of care, and manages these thru approval and implementation phases.
  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and standards assuring practice compliance
  • Maintains records and documents to evaluate the quantity and timeliness of work.
Client Relations
  • Ensures strong relationships, retention of existing referral sources, and new referrals. Ambassador for Post-Acute program.
  • Consistently fosters a commitment to customer service in all areas of responsibility.
  • Consistently displays professionalism in dealing with customers, staff, and clinicians.
  • Develop and implement business development and retention strategies with managed care organizations, facilities and community care physicians.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a healthcare related field
  • BS or equivalent, in a healthcare related field
  • Knowledge of basic math and the ability to perform math functions
  • Ability to analyze and create complex financial schedules
  • Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines and with difficult people
  • Ability to establish priorities and be flexible enough to adapt to changing ones
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively – orally, in writing, in person and on the telephone – with all categories of people within the company and potential affiliates
  • Knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation and English usage sufficient to write professional presentations
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Knowledge of computer sufficient to produce reports accurately and efficiently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word
  • Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
  • Ability to establish goals and demonstrated ability to complete projects by deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to attend company and professional functions after normal work hours
