Job summary

SmithRx is seeking a Plan Operations Pharmacist to guide clinical decisions for new client implementations and ongoing operations. You will act as a trusted advisor on clinical pharmacy services, inform internal teams, and support go-live activities with recommendations and insights.

You will collaborate across the Plan Operations and product teams, staying current on pharmacy trends and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to maximize value.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with advanced degree and active license.
• 3+ years of licensed pharmacist experience.
• 2+ years in a client-facing role with external clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise on drug spend, utilization, and formulary compliance.
• Serve as clinical SME supporting Plan Operation team activities.
• Explain formulary value to clients and internal teams.
• Communicate formulary changes and program updates.
• Recommend clinical programs to achieve client savings.
• Stay current with market trends and provide market intelligence.
• Deliver clinical information and respond to plan inquiries.
• Create and update clinical marketing materials for go-live.
• Analyze data and clearly communicate needs to support teams.
