Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a Clinical/Exercise Physiologist to provide direct patient care, perform assessments, develop exercise prescriptions, and educate patients.

You will coordinate cardiac rehabilitation and education programs, supervise remote patients via telemedicine, maintain a full caseload, and handle daily documentation and monthly statistics, while collaborating with referring physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science is required.
• Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• CCRP certification within one year of hire required.
• ACSM-RCEP certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience; new graduates considered.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, exercise prescription, and education.
• Coordinate and supervise cardiac rehabilitation and education programs.
• Provide remote supervision of patients via telemedicine as approved.
• Maintain a full patient caseload and contribute to related research projects.
• Complete patient records and submit monthly statistical composites.
• Act as liaison between the department and referring physicians.
• Work schedule may include site rotations and variable shifts.
