Position Summary

Under administrative direction, independently perform physician examinations for a broad range of clients to diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and other disorders. Select and utilize appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and review developmental and medical backgrounds.
2. Participate in diagnostics to correlate findings and develop treatment plans.
3. Communicate findings and recommendations with clients, families, and agencies.
4. Manage medications, including prescriptions and monitoring effects.
5. Perform related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• MD degree from an ACGME-accredited medical college.
• Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Med-Peds.
• Unrestricted Illinois medical license or license eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
