Position Summary

Under administrative direction, perform physician examinations to diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and disorders. Select and utilize diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and review developmental and medical backgrounds.
2. Participate in diagnostic staffing to correlate findings and develop treatment plans.
3. Discuss findings with clients, families, and agencies as needed.
4. Manage medications, including prescriptions and monitoring.
5. Perform related duties and participate in special projects.

Qualifications

Minimum

• MD from an accredited medical college.
• Board certified or eligible in required specialty.
• Unrestricted Illinois medical license or eligible.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
