Responsibilities

• Administers direct patient care in accordance with the written prescription of the referring physician or state authorities.
• Submits required documentation per department policies and procedures.
• Maintains progress notes and discharge summaries for assigned patients.
• Responds to department emergency procedures for patient safety and care as needed.
• Participates in quality improvement chart reviews and activities.
• May attend family meetings related to patient welfare and management.
• Performs related duties as required; all essential functions under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
