PediaStaff is partnering with a leading pediatric therapy provider in Lexington, Kentucky to hire a Pediatric Physical Therapist for outpatient care. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of children ages 0-18 in a clinician-led, supportive setting designed to help families and therapists thrive.

Formación

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license (or in progress).
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Examine and evaluate children from birth through age 21 with congenital, developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
• Improve mobility through gait training, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve developmental and functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to maximize each child's success.
• Provide evidence-based PT services supporting participation at home, school, and community.
• Maintain licensure, ethics, and regulatory compliance while updating competencies.
• Complete timely documentation, progress reporting, and family education as part of comprehensive pediatric care.

Position Details

Pediatric outpatient clinic setting

Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Flexible scheduling options available, including later hours and Saturdays

Pediatric caseload serving children ages 0-18

What You'll Do

• Examine and evaluate children from birth through age 21 with a variety of congenital, developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
• Improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions, including gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to help children achieve meaningful developmental and functional outcomes
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to maximize each child's success
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services that support participation at home, school, and within the community
• Maintain professional and technical competencies while upholding all state licensure, ethical, and regulatory requirements
• Complete timely documentation, progress reporting, and family education as part of comprehensive pediatric care

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or in the process of obtaining licensure)
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
• Passion for working with children and families
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
