Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Phlebotomist.
• Experience in a health care setting.
• Customer care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient setting, performs venipuncture and capillary puncture per policy.
• Identifies patients and correctly labels specimens to ensure tracing.
• Operates LIS and bedside testing devices; maintains QC per standards.
• Adheres to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Supports onboarding and departmental safety roles as needed.
