Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, or higher.
• No experience required.
• Pharmacy tech Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy tech Certification required within 24 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and prepare medication orders per provider instructions and cart fills.
• Handle controlled substances per regulations and policies.
• Operate automation and computer systems for dispensing and charges.
• Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy window and via calls.
• Package and deliver medications to patient care areas per schedule; assist with sterile compounding as needed.
• Participate in training of new personnel and interns.
