Job summary

Option Care Health Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician role under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to support smooth operations. You will process prescriptions, manage inventory, and assist with patient data collection to improve care outcomes.

Responsibilities include handling refills, new prescriptions, training staff, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. A high school diploma and basic Microsoft skills are required, with at least six months of

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Must be licensed or registered (state requirements apply).
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Basic MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills expected.

Responsibilities

  • Process prescription refills for drugs and PN/high risk products.
  • Process new drug prescriptions; count, pour and mix pharmaceuticals.
  • Package products into containers and label them appropriately.
  • Provide training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I.
  • Maintain inventory levels and validate received supplies.
  • Develop purchase orders to address shortages.
  • Collect and maintain patient data for assessments.
  • Respond to non-routine patient questions and requests.
  • Clean and organize site and supplies; ensure sterile workflow.
