Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy required unless graduated from U.S. School of Pharmacy in or before 2003 or foreign equivalent.
• 6 years of experience OR PGY-2 Residency / Fellowship OR 3 years plus PGY-1 Residency OR 3 years of experience plus specialized pharmacy certification.
• Maryland Pharmacist License.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication therapy management services and clinical/distributive tasks.
• Lead continuous quality improvement efforts within the department.
• Oversight of Pharmacy Technicians and education of onboarding team members.
• Represent the department on hospital committees and interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain knowledge of UMMS pharmacy operations and guidelines.
