Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks a clinical pharmacist to act as an expert in oncology, transplant, critical care or nutrition support. The role includes assessing drug therapy and making evidence-based recommendations, and serving as a preceptor for students and residents.

The candidate will provide clinical mentorship and act as a resource for pharmacists advancing their clinical skills within our hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy.
• Eligible for Georgia licensure and licensed before start date.
• ASHP-Accredited PGY1 and PGY2 residencies or equivalent experience; BPS certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy.
• Eligible for Georgia Licensure. Candidate is required to be licensed in Georgia prior to official start date.
• ASHP-ACCREDITED PGY1 and PGY 2 residencies or equivalent experience. BPS certified preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium):

20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
