Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited school.
• Licensed in the State of Arizona or eligible for licensure; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience in acute/critical care; leadership experience preferred.
• Preferred: ASHP-accredited residency (PGY-1/PGY-2) and/or BCPS/BCCCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for clinical pharmacy operations in acute and critical care settings.
• Mentor and develop pharmacists and technical staff to promote clinical excellence.
• Serve as a drug information resource for medical, nursing, and ancillary staff.
• Participate in hospital committees and performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage clinical schedules, budgets, and staff competencies.
• Contribute to formulary management and P&T activities.
• Support pharmacy residency and student training programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safe, cost-effective medication use.
