Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center invites applications for an Assistant Professor, Clinical in the College of Pharmacy. The position is regular, full-time, located in Parks Hall (0273) with a 40-hour schedule and a focus on teaching and service.

Faculty will teach Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelors of Pharmaceutical Sciences courses, engage in OSU Extension activities, and lead collaborative projects aimed at improving public health outcomes across Ohio.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) required.
• At least 12 months of experience facilitating public health and community pharmacy collaboration.
• Faculty role focusing on teaching activities in pharmacy programs.
• Background check successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Teach required and elective pharmacy courses within the Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelors of Pharmaceutical Sciences programs as instructor and preceptor.
• Provide service with The Ohio State University Extension.
• Lead and collaborate on projects to improve health outcomes across Ohio.
• Plan and implement projects and strengthen connectivity among OSU Extension Educators and community pharmacists.
• Contribute to initiatives promoting pharmacy practice and public health connectivity.
• Engage in scholarship on community-engaged practice and teaching outcomes.
