Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to support utilization management requests for delegated products and services. You will process clinical evaluations for PA/UM programs, including formulary exceptions and step therapy, and consult with providers on coverage decisions.

Collaborate with the pharmacist team to ensure consistent decisions and respond to medication inquiries from patients and clinics. Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree.
• 1 year of clinical, retail, hospital, or managed care experience.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing.
• US work eligibility without visa or residency sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Process clinical evaluation for coverage determination (PA/UM) including formulary exceptions and tier exceptions.
• Consult with healthcare providers on non-formulary and clinical coverage issues.
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistent pharmacist decisions.
• Respond to medication inquiries from patients, providers, and clinics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
