Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a clinical pharmacist to provide direct patient care and lead pharmacy technicians and support staff in dispensing, compounding, and providing drug information.

The pharmacist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize therapy, perform renal/hepatic dosing adjustments, and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety, and patient education in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
• Florida Pharmacist License is required.
• Relevant pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug information to patients and healthcare teams.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to technicians and support staff.
• Ensure timely verification, preparation, and distribution of medications and supplies.
• Perform clinical pharmacy services including dosing adjustments, antimicrobial stewardship, and PK/renal dosing as needed.
• Review orders and labs to optimize therapy and document interventions.
