Penn Medicine is seeking a full-time, evening shift Clinical Pharmacist, Ambulatory/Retail at our specialty central fill location on 76th Street in Philadelphia near the airport. This pharmacist will work onsite with the Specialty Central Fill Operations team to fill, verify, and package medication orders. In addition, Operations pharmacists will help set up medication deliveries, resolve insurance adjudication issues, and assist technicians with day-to-day tasks as needed.
Shift: 4pm-12:30am
Summary:
Provides comprehensive, quality medication management for patients of Penn Medicine through application of pharmacy practice standards. Reviews physician orders and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical preparations to inpatient and outpatient areas of the hospital. Maintains accurate patient profiles and monitors and helps manage drug therapies in order to achieve positive patient outcomes. Oversees pharmacy technicians and students and ensures accuracy of their work prior to dispensing. Adheres to Pharmacy Policies and Procedures and organizational goals and objectives.
