Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Dallas is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist for a full-time position. Responsibilities include interpreting and verifying orders, monitoring drug therapy regimens, and leading mentorship and training programs. Candidates should have a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy, a Texas Pharmacist license, and significant clinical experience. A sign-on bonus up to $30,000 may be available.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college.
• Must have a current Texas Pharmacist license or eligible with Authorization to Test.
• Minimum 3 years as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist or 5 years general hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Interprets orders and verifies them accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
• Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications and interactions.
• Leads training and mentorship of pharmacists, students, and staff.
