Job summary

The Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Baptist Health provides pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, reviewing and dispensing medications and counseling patients. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and other health professionals to deliver safe, effective and fiscally responsible care.

A Pharm D is preferred and progressive clinical experience is valued. Qualifications include a registered pharmacist license and a Bachelor of Science; a Doctor of Pharmacy degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist license required.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred.
• Progressive pharmaceutical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to Baptist Health patients of all ages through medication order review, preparation, dispensing, documentation, monitoring and counseling.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals to ensure safe, effective and fiscally responsible patient-centered care.
• Interpret, review and process medication orders, intervene when appropriate to improve patient outcomes.
