Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to provide outstanding patient-centered care, lead as a clinical educator for IPPE and APPE rotations, and serve as a primary preceptor to PGY-1 residents. You will participate in interdisciplinary rounds, develop medication therapy plans, monitor patients, and contribute to expanding clinical services.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree with PGY-1 residency and 3 years of relevant experience.
• MA Pharmacist license.
• Board Certification or plan to obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise non-pharmacist personnel by assigning duties and checking orders.
• Verify orders for dose, allergies, interactions and monitor lab data.
• Manage narcotic inventories and perform weekly/monthly inventories.
• Advise clinicians on drug interactions and proper administration.
• Participate in department programs and clinical development projects.
