Firelands-Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (Registered) for PRN, with inpatient and outpatient hours variability. The role supports the Pharmacy Department Director, advising on drug usage and contributing to clinical services and education programs for staff and students.

The position requires Ohio licensure, ACPE-accredited pharmacy education, and hospital/clinical pharmacy experience. Responsibilities include mentoring, ensuring compliance, and delivering safe, cost-effective drug

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio.
• Hospital/clinical pharmacy practice experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to collaborate with staff.
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug therapy and patient outcomes.
• Mentor pharmacists in training and students/residents.
• Maintain liaison with medical staff and provide timely information on drugs and regulations.
• Conduct medication histories and assess compliance for therapy optimization.
• Individualize regimens with pharmacokinetic considerations and ensure quality pharmaceutical care.
