Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Pharmacist to provide safe, cost-conscious medication therapy, clinical consultation, and leadership to pharmacy staff. You will participate in quality improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and support drug information services.

The role requires Wisconsin and/or Illinois licensure, a graduate pharmacy degree, and the ability to supervise technicians while maintaining formulary integrity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy program.
• Wisconsin and/or Illinois license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request.
• Provides drug information to professional staff, patients and families.
• Ensures safe, cost-effective medication therapies and reports adverse drug reactions.
• Participates in quality improvement and documentation; maintains logs/records.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and support staff; contributes to staff development.
• Maintains licensure and compliance with regulations and professional standards.
• Oversees formulary management and drug procurement within policies.
• Supports pharmacokinetics consult service and dosing as required.
