An established industry player is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to enhance patient care through effective drug therapy monitoring and medication distribution. This role involves supervising pharmacy staff and implementing nutritional support regimens. Monitors drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and quality of care, recommends rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives, and provides accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.
Education: Bachelor degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited university with a license to practice pharmacy in Alabama required; completion of postgraduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferred. Proof of current AHA BLS must be provided or obtained by the end of the orientation period. Experience: Completion of postgraduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical practice strongly preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be proficient in mathematics.
