Job summary

Carroll Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health in Westminster, MD, seeks a registered pharmacist to oversee medication preparation and dispensing, enter orders, monitor therapy, and provide medication information to patients and staff.

The pharmacist will identify and intervene on medication-related problems with providers and supervise pharmacy support personnel to ensure timely availability of medications.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pharmacist License.
• Experience expected: Less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medication.
• Enter medication orders in the computer system.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and provide medication information to patients, providers, nurses and other allied health professionals.
• Identify, recommend, resolve and prevent medication-related problems through provider interventions.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel to ensure timely medication availability.
