Elevance Health is seeking Pharmacist Clinicians licensed in Kansas or North Carolina. This virtual-eligible role requires proximity to an Elevance Health office for in-person training, with a hybrid work model and weekly onsite expectations.

You will evaluate pharmaceuticals, support core clinical programs, and provide expert pharmacotherapy guidance to physicians and health plan teams. Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in Pharmacy, with 2+ years in managed care or residency, and an active RPh

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Pharmacy required.
• Minimum 2 years managed care pharmacy experience or residency.
• Active, unrestricted state license to practice as a Pharmacist (RPh).
• Puerto Rico candidates must have PR health certificate and PR Law 300 when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage selection and utilization of pharmaceuticals for optimal therapy.
• Support DUR, DIS and formulary management programs.
• Review/approve or deny coverage for pharmaceuticals per medical necessity.
• Serve as clinical resource on DURs and provide dosage conversion support.
• Prepare information for network physicians.
