Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring accurate dosing, reviewing therapy appropriateness, and coordinating immunization services when needed. A strong background in hospital/clinical pharmacy is preferred; Arizona licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license with Arizona State Board.
• BLS Certification and Level I Fingerprint Clearance.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.
• AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide counseling with drug interactions and therapy considerations.
• Serve as information resource to patients/providers/staff on medications, therapy and adverse effects.
• Verify prescriptions, evaluate dosing, interactions, and therapeutic substitutions as needed.
• May provide immunizations per CDC guidelines and maintain immunization records.
• Lead, train, and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
