Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a licensed pharmacist to compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a hospital setting. The role includes consulting with medical staff about drug interactions and patient history, and responding to patient questions on medications and dosages.

The candidate must hold Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, be licensed in South Carolina, and have current BLS certification; pharmacy residency is preferred.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
