Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to review, verify and dispense medication orders in compliance with laws and professional standards. The role includes evaluating therapy for dosing and interactions, and consulting with prescribers when concerns arise.

You will counsel patients on safe medication use and coordinate with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate dispensing. The position requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and state pharmacist licensure, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program is required.
• Prior pharmacy practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness and safety.
• Evaluate therapy for dosing, allergies, interactions and contraindications.
• Dispense medications in compliance with state and federal law and professional standards.
• Consult with prescribers and other clinicians to resolve therapy-related concerns.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage and adherence.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support inventory, controlled substance and record-keeping requirements.
