Responsibilities

• Responsible for the medication use process of preparing and dispensing medications following policy and laws.
• Assesses drug information and provides it to patients and health care professionals.
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
• May supervise daily workflow of technicians, residents, students, or interns.
• Educates and trains residents, students, interns, and other staff as needed.
