Job summary

The position supports investigational drug services, coordinating research-related pharmacy activities and liaising with study teams and sponsors. Requires CA pharmacist license and BLS/ACLS per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy Required or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited college/university Required
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. One (1) year if completed a PGY1 residency.
• Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice, pharmacology and therapeutics.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Pharmacy: apply knowledge to dosing, compounding, dispensing, and drug interactions; ensure proper interpretation of prescriptions and patient safety.
• Investigational Drug Service: coordinate research-related pharmacy services, support sponsor visits, and liaise between study team and nursing.
