The Clinical Excellence Quality (CEQ) Pharmacy Operations team supports Optum’s Care Delivery Organizations by providing patient-centered, clinically collaborative medication consultations to promote healthier lives. Our team focuses on telephonic and digital engagement strategies to close Medicare star measure care gaps. The team includes Pharmacists, RNs, Pharmacy Technicians, and Care Coordinators.
Clinical pharmacists perform telephonic, patient-centered consultations focusing on medication adherence, SUPD/SPC, care of older adults, A1c reviews, and polypharmacy measures, including opioids/benzodiazepines and anticholinergic medications. They also consult with providers, pharmacies, and other stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and address social determinants of health.
Requirements include meeting productivity and quality metrics, with flexible schedules supporting hours from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CT, including rotating Saturday shifts (~6 per year).
