Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Pharmacist to perform medication management ensuring safe, rational, and cost-effective therapy while complying with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, supervising staff, ensuring inventory security, and educating patients. Requires ACPE-accredited degree and state license with 2 years acute care experience; immunization certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required).
• 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting (required).
• 1 year of leadership experience (preferred).
• Immunization Certified (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process orders and provide medication review for appropriateness, safety and efficacy.
• Oversee distribution and ensure timely medication availability.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Maintain security of pharmacy inventory.
• Identify and resolve adverse medication events and document findings.
