Qualifications

• Accredited pharmacy program required.
• Pharmacist license in Florida required.
• Relevant pharmacy work experience preferred.
• Must work well in a team and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders, labs and other clinically relevant information to ensure safe and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provides clinical pharmacy services including renal/hepatic dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, total parenteral nutrition and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to technicians and support staff to ensure timely verification, preparation, distribution, and compounding of medications.
• Provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers including medical, nursing and pharmacy staff.
• Manages and optimizes drug therapy in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
