St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, is seeking a staff pharmacist to dispense medications, monitor patient therapies, and provide drug information. You will supervise pharmacy support staff and, in the director's absence, assume essential duties of the pharmacy director.

We require licensure as a pharmacist, hospital pharmacy experience, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. The role demands strong computer skills, accuracy, and commitment to patient safety within Covenant

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of pharmacy education with a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist licensure required.
• 6–12 months hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Fifteen hours of continuing education per year as needed for licensure.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and dispenses medications per physician requests.
• Interprets medication orders and updates patient profiles.
• Prepares sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations.
• Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records.
• Monitors regimens for interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
• Provides clinical consultations and evidence-based regimens.
