Job summary

Essentia Health in Superior, WI, is seeking a pharmacist for part-time hours (0.1 FTE) at Superior Clinic to dispense and monitor medications and participate in clinical initiatives. This role includes training staff, supervising technicians, inventory control, and handling billing and records with accuracy.

The candidate must hold a BS or PharmD, be licensed in Wisconsin or Minnesota, and obtain licensure within 90 days. BLS and Immunization Delivery Certification are required.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required).
• Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in Wisconsin or Minnesota; licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified within one week of hire; Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide access to medications and immunizations.
• Participate in clinical initiatives and assist in daily pharmacy department activities; supervise technicians and interns.
• Perform inventory control, care of supplies, cash handling, audits, records, and related duties.
