Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: The clinical pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, evidence-based, and cost-effective use of medications. Uses advanced knowledge, skills, and judgment, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines, working closely with clinic leadership, physicians, and caregivers to optimize patient outcomes.

**Qualifications:**

  • Education: B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • License: Current pharmacist license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
  • Experience: Graduate of an accredited PGY1 residency or 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Preferred Experience: PGY2 residency in ambulatory care or 6 years of experience.
