Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, verify orders, compound and dispense medications in a state-regulated hospital setting.

The role includes supervising technicians, precepting students, and offering clinical consultations to the care team. A Pharm.D. or equivalent is required, with no prior experience necessary. Night shift available with relocation and sign-on support.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from accredited school of pharmacy.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies medication orders and dispenses pharmaceuticals in accordance with regulations and hospital policy.
• Precepts pharmacy students and residents as applicable.
• Oversees pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure safe drug delivery.
• Provides clinical consultation to practitioners and promotes cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
• Maintains safety by documenting medication plans and interventions in the EMR.
