Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Currently licensed as Pharmacist in New Mexico.
• Must have or obtain certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Understanding of HIPAA and related regulations.
• Knowledge of medications that interfere with methadone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of drugs handled in the facility.
• Set policies related to drug handling and distribution.
• Maintain patient profiles and document visits.
• Dispense take-home medications to eligible patients.
• Participate in regulatory agency surveys or audits.
