Job summary

jmh is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support medication-use processes, verify orders, and ensure safe, effective drug therapy within our health system. You will supervise technicians and help lead pharmacy services in a clinical setting.

The role requires strong collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining cost-effective care. California licensure is mandatory, with ASHP PGY1 preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in California required.
• ACPE-accredited degree required.
• ASHP PGY1 residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders and monitor therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage daily workflow.
• Lead pharmacy services in a clinical or operational area of the health system.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and other clinicians to assure optimal drug therapy.
