Responsibilities
- Review and monitor patient's medication therapy for safety and efficacy.
- Consult with physicians on the selection and dosages of medications.
- Prepare, label, and dispense medications accurately.
- Maintain appropriate records of dispensing.
- Ensure compliance with regulations for controlled substances.
- Collect data and present reports regarding medication systems.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile solutions.
- Train and mentor new staff.
