Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and exceptional patient care at a CVS Retail location in New Jersey. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily operations, and mentor staff while delivering immunizations and clinical services where permissible.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist and support patients and colleagues.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communications with patients and teammates.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescriptions, days supply, and bottle counts.
• Issue Resolution: handle patient interactions and choose best course of action.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift, reach, and handle items as needed.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
