CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist at a CVS Pharmacy location in New Jersey. The role emphasizes delivering patient-centered care, immunizations, and accurate prescription fulfillment while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and leading the pharmacy team.

You will help manage daily operations, coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality clinical services to improve patient outcomes within the pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly, ensure prescription label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and understand patient reactions.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues using verbal and written communication.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, tablets, and bottle quantities for prescriptions.
• Issue Resolution: identify challenging interactions and choose best course of action.
• Physical Demands: capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
