Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Inpatient - Critical Care unit to provide accurate and efficient pharmaceutical care to patients, nurses, and medical staff.

You will participate in pharmacotherapy consults, staff development and education, and targeted drug programs while assessing age-specific needs and monitoring medication orders.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in Florida.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year of prior hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy for patients, nurses and medical staff.
• Participate in Pharmacotherapy Consult service, staff development and education, and targeted drug programs.
• Assess age-specific needs of patients and monitor medication use and orders.

Job Summary

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, responsible for accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy, including general clinical pharmacy services to patients, nurses and medical staff. Participates in Pharmacotherapy Consult service, staff development and education, and targeted drug programs. Assesses the age‑specific needs of patients served while monitoring patient medication use and processing medication orders. Able to perform all of the duties of a registered Pharmacist. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications
