Job summary

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, WA is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to deliver clinical and operational pharmacy care across outpatient oncology/infusion services. You’ll review regimens, supervise sterile compounding, and ensure safe, effective medication delivery for a regional patient population.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, supervise technicians, and participate in quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• PGY1 residency training and/or three years as a licensed pharmacist.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Washington prior to start date.
• BLS within first year of employment, and must be maintained.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• 1-2 years' infusion experience (desired).
• Bilingual with fluency evaluation (desired).
• Strong communication and leadership skills (desired).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, effective, and cost-effective drug use for patients.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations pertaining to pharmacy practice.
• Provide clinical and financial evaluation and documentation of medications.
• Evaluate and verify oncology/infusion regimens and supervise sterile compounding.
• Maintain charting systems meeting clinical and fiscal requirements.
• Provide drug information to providers, nurses, and patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure safe, timely pharmaceuticals.
• Instruct, mentor, and coach staff, students and residents.
• Report adverse drug events and lead quality improvement activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve the medication use system and implement solutions.

Education

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree

PGY1 residency or 3 years licensed experience

BLS/CPR certification
