Job summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, seeks a Pharmacist to support the Fort Peck Service Unit in Poplar, MT. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, and is open to W2, 1099, or travel engagement.

The Pharmacist will screen charts, process orders, educate patients, administer immunizations, and collaborate with the pharmacy team and providers to deliver timely pharmaceutical services in accordance with policy and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience in ambulatory or inpatient care.
• PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Immunization delivery certification or other clinical pharmacy services.
• PharmD degree or equivalent (or grandfathered Bachelor's).
• Current BLS certification.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Screen patient charts to ensure orders align with notes, labs, vitals, and allergies.
• Process new medication orders and fill prescriptions as needed.
• Educate patients on medication therapy and provide patient education.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team and providers for timely pharmaceutical services.
• Answer questions about drug therapy and ensure appropriate dosing and form.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate resuscitation measures as appropriate.
• Perform controlled substance audits and manage order referrals.
• Administer immunizations and participate in training and competency activities.
• Utilize electronic health record for chart documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and clinic policies.
