Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to serve as a key member of the store pharmacy team in Newburyport, MA. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize when allowed, and support the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, an active NPI, and adherence to safety, privacy, and regulatory standards to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and counseling.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and lead the pharmacy team during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
• Deliver immunizations and support inventory management, including cold chain products.
